Kira Freije
Kira Freije (b. 1985, London) employs metal, fabric, silkscreened images and found materials to produce materially rich sculptures that explore surreal or exaggerated narrative situations driven by empathy. The sculptures occupy a cinematic and suggestive space that provoke a wide array of contradictions, by making physical that which is inherently closeted, these works reveal themselves to be guilt-ridden, anxiety-driven, violent, joyful, funny and sad.
Stella Bottai
Stella Bottai (b. 1986) is a contemporary art curator based in London. She was associate curator of the Italian Pavilion at the Venice Biennale 2019.
